EBN's modular NFT marketplace solution is a high-performance digital asset trading infrastructure built on Bitcoin Layer 2's State Commitment Mechanism. It elevates NFT issuance, trading, and royalty settlement to the precision of On-chain Financial-Grade Settlement.
1. Batch Minting Contract (High-Density Asset Issuance & Merkleized DA Guarantee)
This contract aims to achieve high-throughput L2 asset state writing while ensuring data availability (DA) and censorship resistance of asset metadata.
Atomic Batch Processing of L2 State Commitments: Calls to the batch minting function
batchMint(to[], metadata[])are aggregated by the EBN Sequencer into a single Canonical Transaction Batch. Within the L2 Transaction Execution Engine, these operations are executed atomically, with ownership updates written to the State Manager's Sparse Merkle Tree in one go.Merkleized References on the DA Layer: Batch transaction data is submitted to the Data Availability Layer for encoding and sharded storage. Key NFT attributes and metadata references (Hash References), as part of L2 state commitments, are periodically anchored to Bitcoin L1 via the State Root. This ensures that even if L2 is offline or the Sequencer acts maliciously, any Watcher node can still reconstruct and verify asset states through Merkle Proofs.
Gas Efficiency Optimization: The batch minting design achieves logarithmic complexity optimization for Gas costs (instead of linear costs), significantly enhancing capital efficiency.
2. Marketplace & Auction Contract (On-Chain Order Book, Price Discovery Mechanism & MEV Resistance)
This module provides diverse, configurable trading and price discovery mechanisms, serving as the cornerstone for deep liquidity and fair asset pricing in the NFT marketplace.
L2 Implementation of Order Books & Auction Mechanisms: Marketplace contracts (e.g.,
listAuction) support atomic on-chain order books and complex bidding logic. L2's high-throughput environment enables high-frequency bidding, order cancellation, and auction settlement, with strong consistency in the transaction pool.Timing Attack & MEV Defense: The L2 Sequencer's ordering mechanism can be designed to resist Miner Extractable Value (MEV) attacks. For example, adopting Deterministic Ordering within Batch or Timelock Commitment schemes ensures NFT transactions are protected from front-running or tailgating.
Interest Rate & Risk Calibration: In NFT financialization scenarios involving collateral or installment payments, auction contracts can integrate off-chain market depth and volatility metrics from the Data Aggregation Layer to perform risk calibration for pricing models (e.g., Dutch auction decay rates).
3. Royalty Distribution Module (Irreversible Cash Flow Allocation & Transparency Auditing)
This module treats NFT royalty distribution as an irreversible smart contract-based cash flow pipeline, safeguarding creators' long-term interests.
Atomic Settlement & Execution: When a secondary market transaction is completed via the L2 Transaction Execution Engine, the royalty distribution module automatically executes an atomic transaction: Buyer Payment → NFT Transfer → Royalty Deduction & Allocation → Seller Net Proceeds Release. This atomic execution guarantees the irreversibility of cash flows.
Hierarchical Resolution of Multi-Party Royalties: The contract supports hierarchical resolution of royalty ratios, for example:Where is the total royalty, is the transaction price, and is the percentage allocated to the -th stakeholder (e.g., original creator, IP owner, community DAO). All values are registered in the L2 State Manager and governed by DAO rules.
Governance Transparency & Accountability: All distribution operations and transaction records form on-chain audit logs, which can be traced and audited by Supervisor Nodes under the EBN DAO governance framework, establishing financial accountability for royalty income.
In summary, this design, which delves into the L2 architecture and financial mechanisms, ensures that the EBN NFT marketplace is not only a trading venue, but also a highly secure and efficient digital asset financial clearing system.
